[ONLINE] Element-of-Element Attributions in the Court Cards
Details
The tarot court cards often gaze silently at us from our tarot spreads. But when these reticent witnesses open up, they often share profound wisdom. The "element of element" set of attributions is one of the traditional ways to draw deeper understanding from the people cards. Unfortunately, the element of element attributions are often misunderstood.
For instance, the Pages or Princesses are the "earth" rank of their suit, so the Page of Pentacles is the Earth rank of the Earth suit, so Earth of Earth. The Page of Swords is the Earth rank of the Air suit, so Earth of Air, and so on. Likewise the RWS Knights or the Thoth Princes are assigned to the Air rank. The Queens are the Water rank and the Kings (RWS) or Knights (Thoth) are the Fire rank.
With detailed handouts and references to a variety of source material, combined with meditation and discussion, we'll explore these correspondences so that we can begin to listen more carefully to the tarot's fascinating cast of characters.
Please join us to learn the ins and outs of this elaborate maze and see what wisdom awaits us at the center.
