Fun, Fitness, and Friendship - The Victoria Pathfinders Walking Club (a Volkssport club) has been offering a variety of walks throughout Greater Victoria since 1989. Most of our walks are 10 km in length, with 5 km options on our weekend walks. To enjoy our walks you should be comfortable walking five kilometers in an hour or 10 km in two hours. Our walks start promptly at 10:00 a.m. so we would appreciate you arriving by 9:45 a.m. for registration.
Regular walkers do not necessarily indicate their attendance on Meetup, but our weekday walks typically attract 10 to 12 people; on weekends typical attendance is between 15 and 40 people.
If you would like to explore parts of Greater Victoria you never knew existed with friendly people who will welcome you to the group, then our walks are for you. You will be required to pay a participation fee of $1 or $2 depending on the walk. We charge this small fee to offset our costs. Annual membership is $10. (Walkers who have paid the $10 annual membership fee can purchase discount cards – 20 walks for $10 – that can be used for any $1 walk.)

Join us for a 6 or 10 km walk in Broadmead
Running Room, 777 Royal Oak Dr Unit 330, Victoria, BC, CAMeet at Broadmead Mall, 777 Royal Oak Drive, Victoria V8X 4V1 in the plaza near the Running Room. Registration opens at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. Please arrive by 9:50 at the latest. The walk begins at 10:00 am. We will do the Outerbridge Park routes. This beautiful, hidden, 10-acre garden is well worth a visit. The walks also include several other parks and trails in the Broadmead area. Both routes are rated 2B. Join us for a 5 or 10 km walk in Oak Bay
Oak Bay Recreation Centre, 1975 Bee St, Victoria, BC, CASaturday, November 15th Oak Bay 5/10 km PT 031 rated 1B/3C. Meet at Oak Bay Recreation Centre, 1975 Bee Street, Victoria V8R 5E6. Registration will be set up inside the recreation centre on the main floor near the washrooms at the back. Registration opens at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. Please arrive by 9:50 at the latest. The walk begins at 10:00 am. We have selected the Gonzales routes, which visit the quiet trails and roads of Oak Bay. The 10K walk also includes Gonzales Bay and Gonzales Hill. The 5 km walk is rated 1B; the 10 km walk is rated 3C. Click here for an explanation of walk ratings.
