SATURDAY, APRIL 18 Juan de Fuca PT 163 Walk - Join us for a 5 or 10-km walk, starting from the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre, 1767 Island Highway, Victoria, BC V9B 1J1. Look for a group of walkers gathered under the open-air patio area with the sign "Administration Entrance". This area is to the right of the main entrance as you are facing the building. Please plan on arriving at least by 9:45 for registration.

Route C, 5km rated 2B
Enjoy a 5km walk through the grounds of the Juan de Fuca golf course, portions of the Galloping Goose, and residential areas of Belmont Park.

Route H, 10km rated 2B
Enjoy a 10km walk around the Juan de Fuca golf course to see the driftwood art of Paul Lewis high in the trees. The “Eagles’ Nest” is his favorite and contains the ashes of his son, who died a few years ago. Continue on to the Calypso Trail at the base of Mill Hill Regional Park, Nursery Hill Park and through the pedestrian tunnel with its unique art. Return to the JDF center on the Galloping Goose Trail.

Regular walkers do not necessarily indicate their attendance on Meetup, but our weekday walks typically attract 10 to 12 people; on weekends typical attendance is between 15 and 40 people.
