SATURDAY, APRIL 25 Crystal Pool Event Walk - Please join us for a 5 or 10 km walk, starting from the Crystal Pool, 2275 Quadra Street, Victoria V8T 4C4 at 10 a.m. Please park on the road, not in the parking lot. The 10 km route, rated 3C, is a hilly, scenic walk that includes several parks and a couple of points that offer great views of Victoria and beyond. There should be spring flowers in abundance.
Five km walkers have a choice of two routes. One is a part of the 10 km route, is also rated 3C, and includes Summit Park and Peacock Hill. The other is the Fernwood Loop, rated 1A. This is a tour of some of the highlights of the neighbourhoods of Fernwood.
Please plan on arriving by 9:45 for registration so that we can have a prompt start to our walk. For an explanation of walk ratings click here.
Regular walkers do not necessarily indicate their attendance on Meetup, but our weekday walks typically attract 6 to 12 people; on weekends typical attendance is between 15 and 40 people.
