AHA Humanist Village: PARENTING - Fostering Healthy Masculinity in Our Kids

Details

The American Humanist Association presents a webinar this coming June 10 which may be of interest to many in the secular community in the Boston area:

"As parents, we all want our kids to grow into kind, confident, emotionally healthy adults. But traditional ideas of masculinity—like “boys don’t cry” or “real men don’t show weakness”—can get in the way. Let’s change that.

Join Dr. Jed Diamond, LCSW, and Humanist Dad Alastair Lichten for an engaging conversation on how we can raise boys to be emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and compassionate men. Whether you're parenting toddlers or teens, this is a chance to learn how to support healthy masculinity at every age—and help your child thrive."

PRESENTERS:
Dr. Jed Diamond is a licensed psychotherapist with a Ph.D. in International Health and Master’s degree in Social Work. He founded MenAlive.com and the Moonshot for Mankind community. He has written seventeen books, including Long Live Men! The Moonshot Mission to Heal Men, Close the Lifespan Gap, and Offer Hope to Humanity; The Irritable Male Syndrome: Understanding and Managing the 4 Key Causes of Depression and Aggression; and My Distant Dad: Healing the Family Father Wound. His work has been featured in many major newspapers, radio and T.V. programs, and his new series of courses on Gender-Specific Medicine and Men’s Health will be offered in 2025.
