EVENT INFO/DESCRIPTION (As copied from the ride/race/event description):
Beyond Gravel 2026
Beyond Gravel is a charity gravel ride supporting Runway for Recovery, a Newburyport, MA -based nonprofit that provides resources to families affected by breast cancer.
How You Can Help:
This event is a fundraiser—entry fees cover only essential costs (like bathrooms). Instead, participants are encouraged to make a donation of any amount directly to Runway for Recovery using the link or QR code provided. All donations are tax-deductible and may be matched by your employer.
Why We Ride:
This ride is personal. My sister, Katie, passed away on December 2024, at the age of 39 after a courageous five-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Runway for Recovery supported Katie and her family with meals, childcare, and activities that helped her boys make lasting memories with their mom. Runways continues to support families in our community facing similar challenges.
Join us in honoring Katie’s memory and support others in our community facing similar battles.
