Sunday is shaping up to be a great day for a ride. Join us for a 54 mile trek from Somerville to Nahant. We will join the Northern Strand trail on the Medford/Malden line and continue into Lynn. We'll cross through Lynn heading to Nahant. On the return, we'll cruise down Revere Beach Boulevard with a stop at Kelly's for an early lunch. With our bellies full, the return will take us south to Winthrop and the Deer Island loop where we'll get great views of the Boston waterfront before heading back home through East Boston (Greenway)along the Mystic River. We will take short breaks for a snack in Nahant and at Deer Island.
The forecast calls for a sunny day with afternoon highs of 80 degrees. Be prepared with water, snacks and sunscreen.
