November Club Meeting: Alligators at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge
Details
Please note the date for this meeting is 1 week earlier than normal.
Join us on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Rose Room at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden to meet one of North America’s most powerful reptiles in the American Alligator program at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge. Laura Veloz, a natural scientist, will introduce a live baby alligator ambassador and share fascinating facts about the alligators that live along the Trinity River and wetlands of the Nature Center. Discover how these ancient reptiles survive, what they eat, and why they are so valuable to healthy wetland ecosystems.
Please plan to attend and bring your children or grandchildren too!
Note about Pre-Meeting Refreshments!
Starting with this meeting, at the request of the Botanic Gardens, we will no longer be having snacks prior to our meetings, but don't forget to bring your own non-alcoholic drink of choice.
We encourage guests to arrive around 6:50 PM for our presentation.
