Greek Music & Language Circle — Ringwood
This is a relaxed Greek–English music appreciation and beginner language group for anyone who loves Greek music, is learning Greek, or is curious about Greek culture.
You do NOT need to be Greek and you do NOT need to speak Greek.
I am a beginner Greek learner myself and have been studying Greek for around 39 weeks with a private teacher from Greece. This group is not a formal class — it is a friendly, supportive space where we learn together through music.
Each session is calm and beginner-friendly. We listen to one Greek song, look at a few simple Greek lyrics with English meaning, practise basic pronunciation, and enjoy gentle conversation.
The focus is on enjoyment, confidence, and shared learning — not perfection.
Sessions are held at BizHub Ringwood (Realm) on weekday evenings.
At each session I will welcome the group and introduce the topic in both English and simple Greek, where appropriate. The group is bilingual (Greek and English), and everything is explained clearly so beginners feel comfortable and included.
Free to attend. Absolute beginners welcome.
