Hi Everyone!
Since starting this group I've been making connections and scouting out locations that would be good for our group, so that we can have regular meetups even when I'm out of state. I'm so happy to share that I've met with some of the fine people of Sketch De Pere, a group of fellow creatives that will be meeting up regularly during the cold months, most every Wednesday at The Art Garage!
The Art Garage is a very open space with lots of seating, and works well for artists who may require a bit more space. There is a still life set up, but you're free to draw whatever you like, or do crafts if you choose, so long as what you're working on is considerate of the space, and your fellow artists. All skill levels welcome! (For the digital artists out there, please be aware there aren't any outlets near the seating.)

Wednesdays are for artists! Keep your art practice fresh and make a few friends along the way with the Weekly Sketch at the Art Garage. Sketch nights are free and open to all artists (and the art curious!) Drop in between 5-8pm for open sketch set-ups that will vary each week. We'll supply the set-up, and tables and chairs as needed. Bring your art supplies and settle in for some quality sketching! These nights are geared for 18+ and self guided. Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages. Art Facilitator: Tania Nelson
There will be more meetups coming in the warmer months, exploring different times and locations. For now, I figure this is a good way to allow us all the opportunity to meet more regularly. Please RSVP if you can make it, as there is currently a limit, and lift the RSVP if your plans change
