Making the decision on Residential Solar Power Easy for everyone

Details
Ok everyone, it's time to get rolling with some serious GreenDrinks action to celebrate the beautiful spring in Boston.
On May 3rd, let's meet up to learn about solar electricity in the state of Massachusetts.
Yes, the price of solar power has dropped big time, while tax credits, rebates, and other incentives from the Federal Government (30% Tax credit!) and State and Municipal governments are at their highest levels ever. This makes solar as financial beneficial as it is environmentally beneficial - but only for the people who can make it work for them.
So how do you know if you're one of these people?
-
Is your property suitable?
-
Can you take advantage of all of the incentives available?
-
Will your system be reliable and produce enough power to make a profit?
These and many more common concerns will all be addressed in the presentation on May 3rd at the Brickyard Collaboration Space (http://www.brickyardcollaborationspace.com/) in Cambridge.
Afterward, we can head to one of the local bars (there's a really, really local one a short walk away) to address the "drinks" part of Greendrinks.
The presentation, given by yours truly (http://onesolarroof.com/joe-boyce-solar/), and sponsored by the Massachusetts One Solar Roof initiative, will make it simple (and hopefully even a little bit fun) to find out if solar is right for you.
Topics Covered:
-
How to know if you can put solar panels on your roof
-
How much you should save on your electricity bill
-
The price others in your area paid for their solar installations
-
How much you should expect to pay for a system
-
What rebates you qualify for
-
What SRECs are, and how much you should be paid for them
-
Which solar equipment is best for your particular property
-
The environmental impact you would have if you went solar
-
Any other questions
At One Solar Roof, our goal is to take the mystery and complexity out of going solar. By teaching everyone what they need to know before ever having to contact a "representative" from a solar installer or contractor. We make it easier, faster, and even a little fun.
By clearly laying out the costs, the incentives, the savings, and the money you can make for producing solar, as well as the environmental benefits, people can make their decision with confidence, and not have to depend on the advice of the person trying to sell the system to them. This is important to guarantee quality and competitive prices.
To be very clear... This is not a presentation to try to convince you to buy solar. I'll simply give you the facts that let you know if solar will be a financial benefit to you as well as an environmental one, and show you how to make the process of going solar quick and seamless.
Please contact me with any questions beforehand.
Also, please be sure to RSVP! The sooner the better... I will need a pretty accurate headcount to make sure we have enough space available.
You can RSVP right here on Meetup.com (preferred) or via the One Solar Roof Website (http://onesolarroof.com/rsvp).
Thanks everyone, and I look forward to seeing you on May 3rd!! My sincere apologies for the lack of meetups lately. Now that the One Solar Roof initiative is established and growing I'll be able to schedule events much more often.
Also, special thanks to those of you who helped me get The One Solar Roof initiative off the ground over the past year. I deeply appreciate your support, particularly with the website!!
