Making a success of local food retailing: what are the lessons of the Green Valley Grocers co-operative, Slaithwaite? The coop which started 8 years ago, has been part of a revival of the village centre even as Aldi opened a supermarket. Jon Walker (treasurer) has a long history in whole food retailing.
