River management and flood risk - local projects and national strategies

On river management, Jeff Keenlyside, Greenstreams, will describe partnership work with local businesses and volunteers. The work focuses on tackling dumping and litter and promoting biodiversity and improving access.
To illustrate national strategies to mitigate flood risk Steve Smith, Icarus, will share his experience of working with communities in Calderdale and Cumbria.
