All About helping Native Bees with Scout Bee: Our bees and pollinators need our help! Please join Pam Treadwell April 12 at the Dandy for easy stewardship tips to help your neighborhood bees thrive, educational bee videos and Q&A.

Native bees and pollinators really need our help as there has been a great loss of habitat and native food availability. They are encountering the same problems with environmental toxins and pesticide laced nectars and pollens as honeybees. Native bees are more numerous than honey bees and provide pollination diversity that honey bees cannot. Their stewardship is much easier, accessible and more affordable than that of honey bees making it something everyone can participate in. Native bee homes and creating wildlife friendly gardening/yards/spaces will be discussed.

Also, info on getting started with backyard beekeeping/bee stewardship of honey bees. Pam will have raw, local honey from biodynamically kept hives for sale too.
