Mansfield: Subway to Lakeview

From Underhill State Park we'll climb the Laura Cowles trail, hit the summit, follow the challenging Subway, Canyon North Extension, Canyon North, Canyon, and Lakeview trails that parallel the Mansfield ridge along it's west side, and return by the LT and Sunset Ridge. This is a difficult hike along some of the most challenging trails in Vermont with exposure in spots going over large jumbled talus and through awkward caves and canyons.
