Mt. Mansfield Hike via Sunset Ridge

Mansfield Sunset Ridge hike. **Anyone who wants to participate MUST email me at jtourville@outdoors.org. We will start at 9 am at the winter parking area and hike up the mountain road to Underhill State Park. From there we will hike up Sunset Ridge to the top of Mansfield. We will plan for an easy to moderate pace. We will then hike across the top of Mansfield to the Chin and hike down Laura Cowles. Participants must be comfortable with hiking in the snow, using both snowshoes and micro spikes. Trip is weather dependent since we will not do this hike if the weather is bad or winds are too high. Everyone who goes on this hike should bring both snowshoes and micro spikes, plenty of warm clothing and a good sense of adventure. Difficult Hike/snowshoe.
