She served as a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and Board of Directors Chair of the Native Arts & Cultures Foundation, and She lives on the Muscogee Nation Reservation in Oklahoma. She's been a passionate voice about the struggles of her people and a poetry icon for peace. Her writing is thought provoking and inspiring! It will inspire your own too!
