Dance of Autumn
Autumn sparks changes in nature and in us. The subtle sounds of acorns thumping to earth each day, a company a dance of intimate color as leaves captivate us.
- How are we like the rich season of Autumn?

- What qualities do we have in common with Autumn?
In these October workshops we will look closely at the subtle changes in us and in nature. How our thoughts, like leaves, float in the wind. We will search for the perfect soft places to land.

Each workshop includes guided meditation, visualization, poetry reading, writing, group discussions. Poetry from world know poets: John Keats, Joy Harjo, Annie Dillard, Ellen Bass, Gwendolyn Brooks, Mary Oliver, Wallace Stevens, Danusha Lameris and many others will serve as inspiration for your own writing in a circle of creatives. All writing levels welcome!
This workshop includes Guided Meditation, Poetry reading of world known poets, writing with prompts, sharing, group discussion, reflection.
Jerrice J. Baptiste is the founder of Authentic Poetry Workshops, where she blends writing, meditation, and sharing to create a welcoming space for creative expression and reflection.
This 2-hour workshop typically includes two poetry writing sessions, guided meditation, selected poetry readings, a dance session, and sharing in the group discussion.
