On Friday, 24 October 2025 (18:00–19:45 CEST, online), we’ll open with
a brisk tour of Python’s story: from its inception and community roots to the language’s structure and design choices. Next, we’ll demo practical metrics and tools for measuring energy use and carbon footprint, followed by quick, real-world techniques to make Python code more resource-efficient. We’ll watch a few short documentary clips to spark discussion, and finish with an open Q&A.
