The Green Software – the Netherlands community is for anyone with a passion for green software development and supports the Green Software Foundation’s (GSF) mission to create a trusted ecosystem of people, standards, tooling and best practices for green software. We envision a thriving Dutch Green Software Community empowered to take charge of its future. The Green Software - The Netherlands community focuses on:

• Raising awareness about green software development principles and their impact.
• Encouraging action by sharing practical knowledge and fostering collaboration.
• Creating a welcoming environment for individuals and organizations committed to greener software.

About this event
On the 18th of April (5:00 pm – 7:30 pm) we would like to welcome you at the offices of HighTech Innovators (den Bosch) where we would like to celebrate with you this first meetup of the Dutch green software community. The topics for this meetup are:

• an introduction to green software principles
• the Carbon Hack24 hackathon
• the purpose of this community and how you could be part of its future.
• Networking & sharing experiences
