At Surrey Wildlife Trust our Wilder Communities programme aims to support community groups to take action for nature in Surrey. Sometimes, barriers such as funding, volunteer capacity and operational challenges can make it harder to help nature. This event aims to equip you with skills, knowledge and confidence to tackle some of these challenges, through a series of talks and Q&A sessions, as well as the opportunity to network with like-minded community groups and local funders.
This event is for members of Surrey-based community groups. Spaces are limited to 3 people per community group.
The day will be split into two sessions. The morning will focus on funding, including a funding marketplace whilst the afternoon will focus on operating a community group and engaging with new audiences. You are welcome to stay for just the morning, just the afternoon, or for the full day.
