Dear Friends,

Will you join us on Saturday, 21st March to 'March the Mole'?

Meeting at Leatherhead Station at 1.30pm, we will be walking back to Dorking, following the route of the River Mole, albeit on higher ground, to mark World Water Day (22nd March) and to inspire action to call for the restoration of clean waters.

The walk is six miles of varying terrain and it will follow some of the Mole Gap Trail -showing Surrey’s industrial history, as well as houses such as Cherkley Court, across the valley, and Norbury Park where there is ancient woodland in the form of a yew grove. We will follow a route above the Mole, avoiding the fields next to the river because they may be very muddy after all the rain. We will then skirt away from the river through Westhumble, then Denbies Vineyard, ending up at Dorking Station around 5.30pm.

Please book a free place via Eventbrite, so that we have an idea of numbers. Further details will follow nearer the time.

Hope you can join us,
