Hi folks,

The launch event for Green Software Ireland is on May 29th. This will be an online event from 7 to 8pm.

This meetup will be the jumping off point for our new community. We can discuss the ideas and goals of green software, what it means to us, what we want from a community like this and ideas for future events.

We’ve also got a sponsor for this event - Tixserve. I work at Tixserve as the Head of Engineering. They’re implementing some green initiatives that should be interesting for our group. I’ll go through these and show how Tixserve will measure progress on their commitments.
