Most of us grew up in homes where feelings were ignored, punished, mocked, or overwhelmed. So we learned to disconnect, minimize, rationalize, or stay strong. The problem is—what we don’t feel, we don’t heal.
In Week 3, we’ll explore what it really means to allow your emotions instead of fighting them, shutting them down, or intellectualizing them. This is the heart of trauma recovery.
