The GCG is dedicated to cruisers; riding them, talking about them, modifying them, and then riding them some more. During the riding season (usually the beginning of April through the end of November, depending on the weather) we plan on having 3 or more planned rides per month, and more unplanned, spontaneous rides.

Some of our rides are short, perhaps 150 miles or so, and only take a few hours. Others are longer, over 350 miles, and take all day. And, we even have weekend rides that last all weekend ( Fri night/Sat morning to Sunday evening). Some of the rides are Charity Rides, sponsored by other groups, that we participate in, other rides are just us. At least once during the riding season, we have a weekend camping trip. But *all* of the rides have one thing in common; they are fun!

PS. I want to tell you about two things. First, we require annual dues of 20 dollars, however this is not due until you have be cleared off probation status. Second, this is a very active group. During the riding season we have at least 1 activity a week, sometimes more. Even during the 'off season' we still get together pretty often. If you don't RSVP to events, don't attend, and don't pay your dues, you aren't really a member. About once a quarter we go through and clean out our membership roster, removing those who have not participated (and not paid their annual dues) in a few months.

PPS. We also require a signed Waiver of Liability (https://gsocruisers.com/waiver) before you can participate in ANY of the rides. Just download the form, fill it out, & turn it in at your first ride or meeting.
