LB Houston: California Crossing Continued

This Saturday we will be back at LB Houston California Crossing Trailhead. The water levels are still really high at Frasier and Hines, so we will be focusing on continuing the brush and trash removal between the lake and California Crossing Road.

Clean Up 9a-12p at LB Houston 1366 California Crossing

What we will be doing:
- Brush Removal
- Trash clean-up

Greenspace Dallas will provide all tools, leather gloves, and equipment.

• What to wear:
We will be working outdoors in areas that may have mosquitoes and poison ivy. Please wear boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes, pants, and socks that come over the calves. We do not recommend ankle socks, yoga pants, or leggings.
• Other personal items to bring:
Water bottle(s), sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses, and snacks
• Greenspace Dallas will also provide additional safety and first aid materials.

LB HOUSTON NATURE TRAILS: This location was closed for a number of years as the city was repairing a large sewage line break. Greenspace Dallas is in the first of a three-year phase to restore and renovate this beautiful piece of nature in Dallas along the Trinity River. Join us to be part of this exciting time and see the improvements each week firsthand!
