It's a Privet Party!
We are heading to Oak Cliff where the Trail Team has been clearing privet from this neighborhood green space. In an effort to prevent the baby privet from growing and taking over again, we will be using pick axes and shovels to remove this invasive species.
Help us remove privet by hand from this beautiful green space as we work to restore the land, together. We will provide the tools, we just ask you bring your water and wear closed toed shoes.
Please note there is no bathroom at this site.
This is not a volunteer event recommended for children since we will be using tools and engaging in physical labor.
Parking is on both sides of North Oak Cliff Blvd. and on the park side of Lauraette.
