Wilderness Society 'Movement for Life' Community Picnic

Details

2020 has been a really challenging year for Australians and our natural heritage. Whilst we’ve been able to stay connected through the power of Zoom and other web conferencing platforms, we’ve certainly missed getting out into nature together and connecting with one another. So the Wilderness Society Homebush (part of a national network of community groups formed under The Wilderness Society's grassroots community organising program Movement For Life) is hosting a local picnic at Bicentennial Park (meeting at Lake Belvedere), to reconnect with nature lovers in the area and the greenery that makes this part of Sydney special, and to wrap up 2020.

The Greenups Meetup members are welcome to come along to our picnic where you can meet like-minded people in the area. We'll discuss how we're contributing to local, state and national Wilderness Society campaigns, and talk through our plans for 2021.
