Unique Lesson Format - Newbie Oriented - Keeping Dance Simple
The group lessons are oriented towards newbies or experienced dancers looking for simpler dance styles to play with... We focus on lead and follow connection, how leads find a rhythm in the song and by "just walking" guide your partner across the dancefloor inviting turns and twirls... We'll learn beginner level steps from a variety of popular dances and then turn up the music and dance with what we know, with "no concerns" about what we don't know...
Leads - It's not about memorizing steps...
It "is about" being comfortable stepping to the beat or rhythm that you hear in the song and then, using what you do know, make your partner look as flowing and graceful as possible...

Music choices span decades, genres and you may hear songs that you'd not expect to find on a dancefloor... The rhythm is always fun and varied... Waltz, Swing, Tango or just swaying with your partner, we create an environment where you can relax, have fun, do your own dance and truly get lost in the music with those around you...
