## January's Dance Events

Our group lessons always focus on casual lead/follow basics while learning beginner level steps from several different dances... We can look at it as taking "just swaying" up a few notches, or taking "ballroom" down a few notches... Either way, it's a fun night of lesson and dance...
Afterwards, we turn up the music and embrace what we know while not worrying about what we don't know... It's a "no apologies, you can't make a mistake" dance atmosphere...

Song selection is mostly a contemporary blend mixed with personal favorites that span the decades... Dance styles are always "lead's choice" and doing your own thing is embraced... I have my own dance style that I simply refer to as "slow/tip-toe"...

Ballroomers, this is a playground... Enjoy Rhumba, Bolero or Nightclub variations to music that we simply refer to as Slow-quick/quick rhythms... The music calls out for Cha/cha/cha, WC & EC Swing... There's always that touch of Tango and of course we play a Waltz or few... Plus, we could really use some cool styling tips...

$10 entry per person (cash preferred please) most c/card accepted
$5 for 60+ folks (let us know that you qualify)
$20 for family groups - up to 4 people (one must be a parent "under 18" should be "age/interest appropriate"...
