Pletz Park - Salado Creek Trail (South of Jack White)

We are trying a new starting point. Pletz Park in on the Salado Creek Trail south of Jack White Park, and has lots of parking. We will ride south to Southside Lions Park and beyond, with a loop of the lake and a trip up to the Hiawatha Street lookout.

We welcome newcomers. We will attempt to assess your skills and adapt a part of our group if needed to be able to accompany you. If you cannot ride at a 10MPH average, we will not be able to accommodate you... that is too much to ask of our riders. We will ride slower (maybe split our group) if you can maintain a minimum of 10MPH average. Our typical average speed is 12 - 13 MPH. We will often ride at 15 MPH, but because we are older folks, we slow down significantly going uphill.
