In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of collage making, including palette choice, composition, layering, and more. All materials will be provided with ticket purchase, and participants will create a fully matted piece of collage art to bring home. Class led by Val Cymes.

Val studied art at San Francisco State University and has taught art to young people and to the neuro-cognitively challenged elderly population in Northern Virginia and Richmond for over 20 years. Nothing energizes Val more than participating with others in the creative process of art-making.
