About us
Welcome to our Interactive Coding Group!
This is a community built around learning by doing. Each of our events focuses on a specific topic or cool application -- from algorithms and data structures to web development, git, mathematical optimization, robotics, etc. -- which we explore through hands-on coding sessions. Instead of just talking about concepts, we dive in and build things together to truly understand how they work.
Our main programming language is Python, but we're also open to exploring Lisp dialects like Racket and Emacs Lisp, as well as Scala, C++, or any other language that sparks curiosity!
Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, you're welcome. Beginners can learn in a supportive environment, and experienced members are encouraged to share their knowledge and help others grow. Each session combines collaborative exploration with short, focused presentations.
Ideas for topics, projects, or presentations are always welcome — this is your space to experiment and contribute. Our official languages are English and French, so feel free to participate in either (or why not both!).
Bring your laptop and join us — let’s learn and build together, one project at a time!
Events are free-of-charge.

SICP exercises
Manabiya office, 3 Rue des Pins, Grenoble, FRThe SICP book teaches the fundamental principles of programming and computational thinking. It helps us develop deep understanding of how programs work beyond just writing code.
This is a study group where we gather (mostly once a week) and discuss any questions we have related to the book and its exercises.
There is no predefined schedule for which exercises to work on -- everyone progresses at their own pace and can use whichever programming language they prefer. Personally I will use Racket.
We have a 2-hour time slot for our sessions, but feel free to join for as long as it’s convenient for you.
