Hiking Weekend in Ticino

Dear hikers

Let's do a great last Alpine hike of the season in hopefully sunny Ticino. The hike goes along a spectacular border ridge (T4) and the second day to some mystical alpine lakes (T3).

Saturday 27.9.

Salei - Al Pilon - Bochetta di Medaro - Capanna Alpe Arena
Hike duration: 5 hours (T3 - T4)
The ridge hike from Al Pilon to Bochetta di Medaro is probably T4. If you d'like it easier you could choose anothe path leading directly to the hut (T3, saving one hour hiking time).

Please book your own bed in the hut!
right now (11.09.) are still 30 places available. There is no dinner in the hut, so you need to take your food with you! There will be water at the hut.

Sunday 28.9.

Capanna Alpe Arena - Pass dalla Cavegna - Lago Gelato - Lago dei Pozzöi - Cimalmotto
Hike duration: 6h 30min
The hike is T3 and can be shortened by around 2 hours if you skip the lakes and hike directly to Cimalmotto.

Please RSVP only if you have booked the bed. The hut cost only 25.- per night. If the weather will be bad the hut can be cancelled a few days in advance.
