Our core mission is to connect to, learn from, and collaborate with like-minded people interested in building wealth and creating impact through real estate.
We welcome investors of all experience levels. We are life-long learners and believe everyone has value to share.

How it works
We meet once a month, 12 months a year, on the same day, week, and time of the month. Each month we cover a different investing topic in the Lifecycle of an Investor—ranging from wholesaling to rehabbing to becoming a bank through private lending.
Our meetings are not sales pitches. They are opportunities for us to dive deep into a real estate topic, connect with local experts in our marketplace, and build long-term relationships with other doers and deal-makers.

GRID Raleigh is led by Jamie Skojec.
Jamie Skojec’s journey into real estate is driven by creativity, resilience, and a deep passion for all things investing. Growing up in a family that owned a diverse range of businesses—from shopping centers and mobile home parks to liquor stores and even an internet service company—Jamie was immersed in entrepreneurship and real estate from an early age.
Since purchasing her first investment property in 2013, Jamie has flipped homes, managed Airbnbs, operated assisted living group homes, and executed creative strategies like subject-to, BRRR, and slow flips. Her dynamic approach ensures there’s never a dull moment in her investing adventures, and she’s thrilled to bring her energy and experience to the GRID community.
In addition to her personal investment endeavors, Jamie is leading CAZA Group’s expansion in the Raleigh Triangle area. This role allows her to mentor agents, share her wealth of knowledge, and build a team of agent-investors ready to excel in the market. Her collaborative spirit makes building a thriving GRID community a natural next step.
Jamie’s career has also included time at a real estate closing firm in Washington, DC, and running her own boutique brokerage in Northern Virginia. With a knack for negotiating deals, solving problems, and navigating contracts, she takes pride in helping others achieve their real estate goals.
When she’s not busy strategizing her next investment or mentoring agents, Jamie enjoys life in Cary, NC, with her husband and seven of their eight children. She loves road trips, tackling DIY projects, discovering off-market deals, and mastering the art of indulging in bougie food on a blue-collar budget.
Jamie’s mission is simple: to help others achieve financial freedom through real estate and foster a community of savvy, supportive investors. Whether working with seasoned pros or newcomers to investing, Jamie is excited to bring her expertise, energy, and enthusiasm to GRID Raleigh and beyond.
