Grief Cafés with Suzanne are a safe place to bring your grief and be witnessed. We will start with a centring meditation and then shared agreements. It is important to create a safe place with no judgement and no fixing.
While grief is different for each person and each time, the universal truth is that it needs witnessing. We can not grieve healthfully alone.
Because we live in a society that is grief phobic and lacking in understanding, it can be hard to find places where people understand what you are experiencing. Suzanne is a grieving mom and certified Grief Educator and brings her personal experience, training and research to support other grievers to find their own grief path.
Grief can lead to growth and change. We must turn towards it in all its messiness to allow ourselves to move to integration - where we think of our loss with more love than pain.
We move forward WITH our grief. There is no getting over it or moving on. Our loved ones and our other losses come with us as part of who we are.
Come and be witnessed and witness the grief of others. Together we can navigate this experience and normalize grief as a healthy response to loss of all kinds.
