About us
🇬🇧 Grief House Warsaw is a trilingual (PL/ENG/UA) community-based, peer-to-peer space for people living with grief in Warsaw — across languages, cultures, and backgrounds.
We meet in gentle, non-judgmental formats, such as:
- Grief Circles
- Grief Soup (a shared-table gathering)
- Gentle bodywork for grief
- Grief Walks
- Creative workshops
✅ Important: this is not therapy. We are not a clinical or therapeutic service. This is a community support space.

Migrant Grief Circle
Centrum Wielokulturowe w Warszawie, Jagiellońska 54, 03-463, Warszawa, PLMigrant Grief Circle (Free) — for people living far from home
Migrant grief is rarely named — yet many people carry it every day. No one holds a funeral for a lost sense of belonging. There is no ceremony to honour a language you no longer use daily. And still: this grief is real.
What is the Migrant Grief Circle?
A small-group, peer-to-peer meeting for people living away from their homeland who carry migration-related loss: the loss of language, everyday rituals, close relationships, familiar places, and a sense of “home.”
This is a gentle, non-judgmental space. You can come and sit in silence, or share as much as you want — with people who understand what “in-between” can feel like.Who is it for?
Immigrants, refugees, expats — and anyone for whom loss in the context of migration feels close.Language
The meeting is held in English. You don’t need “perfect” English — it’s enough that you can listen and share a few words if you want. (We welcome different accents and levels — understanding matters more than fluency.)Is this for you?
Yes, if you:- left home to build a life somewhere else
- miss family you can’t visit regularly
- feel “in-between” two worlds
- feel uneasy when people ask “Where are you really from?”
- miss traditions you can’t practise
- miss a language you rarely get to use
- miss familiar food, landscapes, and light
- feel alone in this kind of grief
✅ Important: this is not therapy. It’s a community-based peer support space.
