Join us as we gather to discuss our grief. Through this group we will understand why grieving is important and how grief affects your body, identify complicated feelings and learn skills for coping with them, and discover a plethora of self-care practices designed to progress through grief and into healing.
Meet the Presenter: Gretchen H. Wilson
I was one of those teenage brides, married for almost 60 years when my husband passed away in 2021. I took my last retirement at the age of 75. In between we raised two children, continued our schooling at University of Cincinnati, helped with 5 grandchildren and spent 50 years working with children, teens and young adults in a Christian setting.
I have worked for Kroger, a children's learning center, director of housing for marginalized women, program adjunct for a mainstream Christian organization and have volunteered for several non-profit organizations. I am truly one of those jacks of all trades, but probably not a master of all of them.
My many interests include genealogy, reading, time with friends and family. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my adult grandchildren. My two granddaughters and I continued a 22-year tradition of Christmas cookie baking in December.
With a limit of 8 for the group we anticipate it will fill up quickly!
