What we’re about

GRIFFITH PARK YOGA IS BACK!

Griffith Park Yoga is an all-level donation-based outdoor yoga class. The suggested donation is $10; students typically contribute between $5 and $20 per class. Teachers are Grant O'Connell and Danielle King (more on them below). We welcome practitioners of all ages and experience levels. This class is a great opportunity for you to do yoga in the great outdoors!

Griffith Park is a perfect location: beautiful surroundings, free parking, and the Fern Dell path and Trails Café are close enough to walk to before or after you practice. Plus, we get buzzed by humming birds and sometimes see hawks soaring overhead. Join us on Sunday mornings and get outside!

Grant has taught yoga since 2016 with experience at CorePower Yoga, Earth's Power, and Hyperslow, along with a steady roster of private clients. His yoga classes are fun and accessible, but not without challenge. He absolutely loves vinyasa, but each week's practice will be catered to how everyone feels (meaning there will be space for restorative and power yoga too :)

Danielle has recently completed her 200hr RYT training at One Down Dog. She is substitute teacher at Archetype yoga, teaching both vinyasa and restorative classes. She is passionate about helping people understand their bodies better through breath in movement in order to engage more fully with their lives.
