Casual play 5e D&D sessions run by a professional DM allows players with busy or unpredictable schedules to come and go from session to session as their schedule permits.

General Admission: $30/session
Griffons Den Members: $25/session

NOTE: These are NOT "drop-in" sessions where you can just show up on a whim–players must still book their seat in advance online, but they can do so on a session-by-session basis for those who are not able to commit to ongoing monthly memberships.

All casual play sessions will be Tier 1 (levels 1-4) and will operate similar to Adventurers League. New players create a level 1 character using the PureRAWdnd Shared Campaign Rules. Returning players may continue to use the same character from session to session, or they can create a new level 1 character, as they prefer. As with all D&D games at the Griffons Den you can rebuild your character as much as you want at any time between sessions.

Sessions will begin with the 5e version of the classic 1e adventure Keep on the Borderlands.

PLEASE NOTE: the session will be cancelled if an insufficient number of players have booked a seat by the night before (those who did register will receive email notice and a refund).

The Griffons Den is a dedicated gaming club house for in-person TTRPG and other table-top games. Located at Hillside & Quadra area, Griffons Den D&D campaigns are consistent, reliable and professionally overseen by a DM with 40 years experience.

We hew closely to the 5e RAW (Rules As Written) and host a shared campaign where all participants in all our campaigns can trade and interact with each-other through bastions and other mechanisms. Players may choose to use 2014 or 2024 rules, and may rebuild their characters whenever they like so you never have to fret or agonize about build decisions, or get stuck playing a character you regret.

The Den is a private space with a mini-fridge, microwave and kettle where members are welcome to bring outside food and drink, including alcohol if its an adult game.
