What we’re about
Do you love Science Fiction books? How about surrealist fiction? Or perhaps realistic books with supernatural elements. Or maybe even straight up magical fantasy? We are a group of Las Vegas book lovers who have a taste in "literature of the unusual.", or sometimes known as speculative fiction. These types of imaginative novels can not only stimulate the imagination, they can allow us to dive into insights about the human condition in a way that more conventional novels cannot. From hard sci-fi like Michael Crichton, to the magical realism of Christopher Moore, we welcome books of a wide variety of genres which contain metaphysical qualities, and elements of cerebral strangeness. Each month we will meet to discuss a book that might be a bit out of the ordinary. Group is open to anyone; just read (or try to read) the assigned book before hand :) suggestions always encouraged!
