Fun book-talk 📚 in Montreal :)

Pick ONE (1) book and highlight 3 sections of that book, which you will read out loud. Then we'll allow other participants to share their thoughts and impressions, after you've read the 3 excerpts. Finally, at the very end, you'll reveal the author and the name of the book. Find a way to hide the cover of the book, or write/type those 3 excerpts, so that, as you read, we can't guess, keeping the suspense alive. 😊

For what you'll read, AND the feedback part afterwards, you have a total of 5 minutes. Choose wisely 😉 (25 participants x 5 minutes each = approx. 2 hours)

In order to cover the cost of the conference room rental, please make a donation of $3.00, payable on site, in person, at the beginning of the event.

Also, if you have one or a few 2nd hand books which can be given away, bring them. The last part of the meeting will be a used books exchange. Thanks 👍

For the 1st timers... The meeting is held upstairs, in the conference room which is located one level above the restaurant. There's a side entrance on the right side of the restaurant, as you stand facing the restaurant. That side door will be unlocked and once you locate the door, you go through it, go up the stairs to the next level up, walk through the corridor until you see a conference room to your right. This MeetUp isn't in the restaurant. If you're looking for us in the restaurant, you won't find us there.

Please be on time, so that we can start at 2 pm.
