In the spirit of the times, the Quarkus Team virtually presents a big, loud, and bold, rock & roll mega-stadium tour!

For the last 25 years, Java has performed for organizations worldwide but you've never seen anything like this. We'll cover some classics like "Start Me Up" and "Livin' on a VM" and some new jams like "Stairway to Native" and "Sweet JPA of Mine" and more.

In this session, Daniel Oh will guide us through an introduction to serverless Quarkus. A 90ish-minute technical discussion, some live coding, and a Q&A - it’s going to be a blast.

Daniel Oh works for Red Hat as Senior Principal Developer Advocate and is also in charge of the CNCF ambassador to encourage developers' participation in cloud-native app development at scale and speed. He's specialized in cloud-native microservices and serverless development, Quarkus, DevOps & Agile practices, Microprofile, Open Hybrid Cloud, and Kubernetes across regions. He's been delivering technical seminars and workshops to elaborate on emerging technologies at international conferences.

Following Daniel's presentation, we will have a roundtable discussion on the different micro-frameworks we've used to build and deploy applications throughout the years. How our choices have changed and what we think will happen in the future.
