🌊 Float the Creek | Tubing & BBQ in Golden

Bring a friend and we'll kick things off with a potluck BBQ at Parfet Park before heading over to Clear Creek for a float through Golden. Afterward, we'll make our way back to the park for lawn games, more BBQ, conversation, and whatever the afternoon brings.

## 📅 The Plan

Time: 12:00 PM | Meet at Parfet Park
We'll meet, grab some food, and get to know one another before heading to the creek.

Around 1:30ish | Float Clear Creek
We'll walk up to our launch point and enjoy a float through Golden and soak up one of Colorado's best tubing spots.

After the Float
We'll head back to the park for more food, lawn games, and conversation. Stay as long as you'd like or go for another float!

## 🍔 Potluck BBQ

I'll bring: burgers & brats, grill, canopy, condiments, plates & utensils

Please bring one item to share. Ideas include: chips, fruit, salad, dessert, non-alcoholic drinks

• Your own tube (Don't rent one, they are cheaper for a river tube on amazon or at walmart)
• Swimsuit
• Towel
• Water shoes or sandals
• Sunscreen
• Water
• A potluck item
• Lawn chair (optional)

## ⚠️ Good to Know

• Alcohol is not permitted at the park.
• This event is weather dependent. If thunderstorms move in, we'll shift the meetup to Golden Mill for food and conversation instead.
• Floating Clear Creek involves walking over a mile while carrying your tube, and being comfortable in moving water and some minor rapids.
