Why are some people happier than others? Why are some people less happy? Where is happiness hidden? Some people may get depressed just thinking about this!
Some people have given up looking for happiness, and they only seek to avoid pain, such as by distracting themselves from feeling unhappy.
Some people get super busy with work, so they don't have time to think too much about their personal lives. Some people escape into mass entertainment--by watching other people's lives, they are momentarily distracted from thinking about their own lives. Some people numb themselves with alcohol or drugs. Some people spend thousands on cruise trips in order to get away from what pains them at home.
When people do not have solution to unhappiness, they seek DISTRACTIONS from unhappiness, but distractions are not solutions. Distractions only have temporary workability, at best.
Let's do something different! Let's get down to business in this group, we are going to confront and handle some of the major causes of unhappiness in this group. We're going to do something effective rather than just distracting ourselves.
We will have free weekly meetings at the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center near Marconi and Watt in Sacramento. We will talk about and learn useful tools to help enrich our lives with happiness and wisdom.
If you are interested, join this group now. Feel free to call me (Tony, the group organizer) at 916-519-5287 for any questions.
This is not a perfect world, and bad things do happen to good people. Many people are not happy because of the misfortunes that had befallen them. These come in many forms, including abuse, betrayal, breakups, divorce, death of close relatives, losing a good job, etc, etc, etc.
How do we get over traumatic events? How do we move on from abusive people? In this meeting, we will learn the knowledge about how to do that.
Without this know-how, our happiness is marred by these incidents, and our attitude in life tainted by the fear of the possibility of these painful things happening to us again. We will learn a tool in this group to solve the mental effects of painful experiences.
After the meeting, members will also have the option to consult for free with counselors I will invite to this group.
If you are interested, RSVP now. Feel free to call me (Tony) at[masked] for any questions.
When romantic relationships are incorrectly handled, it can be the source of a lot of unhappiness. Correctly handled, it can be the source of a lot of happiness, not only for you, but for the whole family.
In this meetup event, I want to show you a tool to help you with the following:
- How to measure how healthy a relationship is
- How to know whether someone is trustworthy or not
- How to know whether someone is the right fit for you or not
- Understanding why people behave the way they do in relationships
At the end of the meetup event, you'll have the option to consult with a relationship counselor for free about your situation, if you wish.
If you are interested, RSVP now. Call Tony at[masked] for any question.
