What weβre about
New in town? Singles? Looking for job / switching career? Learning new skills? New Phase of life? Come on in, here is your place.
We do team based casual mixer social for people in these transitional phases of life. We do that mainly by attending all kinds of community events in groups -- from big festivals, to medium sized outings, to small group explorations. Basically to touch all kinds of social fabrics of local life, it could be cultural, natural, societal or civic, with any parties that do community work, non profit / for profit, non gov / gov, even religious. So any time (big) crowd / event happen, you may see us, to see and experience.
We do that in two formats, either participate or volunteer, or a combo of both, in small teams. We would do speed connection and team building at events we go, so you always leave with new connections. And since we started with volunteer social, we intend to mix purpose in while having fun, think of beach cleanup single mixer, something along that way.
Talking about our volunteer root, we also give people opportunities to shine in group activities, as volunteer organizer / assistants. It gives people chance to know you, your style, personality, leadership etc.. So you are now not just participating passively, but rather hosting actively. All spot lights would be on you. Imagine that. And don't worry, we always pair up, and you will have partner and team for support.
Working together bonds people, we would do that in our small squads as well, resolving fun tasks together. So you may come as strangers, but leave with connections & bondings, and know what is going on with the local community, who is who and how it works etc.. Since everybody is equal in community affairs, you get to know people as true person, you may also help others while having fun. Win win. Why not?

We will do a Mixer & Social Game during the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 6 in downtown Castro Street.
Unlike traditional speed dating, our event is team-based, festival-friendly, and all about social connection β make friends, network, and maybe meet someone special, all while exploring the festival together.
The festival draws 160,000 people over two days β one of the biggest community events in the Bay Area. Turn it into your playground for fun connections. This event is perfect for single professionals, newcomers, and social adults to meet potential partners.
If we have a big team, we will do some social game first, as described below. If we have a small team, then we will do some volunteering, then decompress social afterwards. We will let you know depending on the number of attendees.
