Yay! We’re going to the Academy Awards! (well, kinda sorta 🙄)

It's in a big building and there might be a flashy red carpet involved with some famous (Meetup) celebs. 🤩 There’ll be an Awards Host (well technically it’s an Organizer if we’re getting specific), fancy hors d’oeuvres (hey, chips n salsa can be fancy), a TV screen, and maybe even some shutterbug paparazzi (cell phones count) 📷

So come and strut your stuff and glam it up for our awesome 2026 Academy Awards Social Watch Party! Get out those fancy-smancy threads that scream you’re a Hollywood (Meetup) celebrity and come party with your fellow famous Game Groupies. Got a boa? (actually yes 🤔), Tiara? A Miami Vice Jacket? Then think ritzy-glitzy, think snazzy-jazzy, think I’m gonna rock it cause I got it! There's no such thing as too much bling!! 💎

A special Meetup pre-awards show will begin at 6:30 pm. Attendees will be nominated, winners announced, and special prizes given out too!

Feel free to BYOB and any snacks to share with your fellow Meetup Game Groupies as we socialize like celebs for the night, talk movies, and have fun playing games while the Academy Awards show is on.
