Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme

- A Portuguese based business owner with at least three years’ experience of running your own company?
Chris Barton, CEO of the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed as one of the scheme’s administrators of the EU funded programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.

The EYE programme promotes entrepreneurialism and mobility across the continent by pairing aspiring entrepreneurs, also known as New Entrepreneurs (NE), with experienced business owners, referred to as Host Entrepreneurs (HE), in another European country.
The HE commits to mentoring the NE through face-to-face counseling and supporting the development of the NE’s business plan. This process equips the NE to return to their home country better prepared to embark on the otherwise daunting journey of entrepreneurship.
