An instrument developed by the University of Minho through Gávea – Information Society Observatory, initiated as part of the doctoral work of Luís Miguel Ferreira, under the guidance of Professor Luís Amaral. It specifically aims to "understand the reality of the Information Society in the seven Portuguese NUTS II regions, comparing and contrasting them.
