Originally from the UK, Richard York is a freelance consultant now based in Tavira, Portugal. He has spent his career specializing in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), helping businesses improve performance, make informed decisions, and achieve their strategic goals.
With over 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, including a decade in Switzerland heading up FP&A for the European division of a global freight forwarder, he has a deep understanding of financial strategy and business performance.
In recent years, his freelance work has brought him into the startup ecosystem, where he helps founders build financial models that drive growth and support fundraising—an area he is particularly passionate about.
